Stefano Zucca: Academic stressors and how to deal with them Virtual Event on 9th of June 4pm CEST
Updated: Jun 5, 2021
In recent years, there has been an increasing number of surveys, articles and research papers highlighting a worrying scenario for researchers’ mental health. Competition, long-hour working culture, isolation, toxic environments, and a pandemic crisis are just some of the elements affecting scientists’ wellbeing at the workplace.

What are the main academic stressors? How can we manage our daily stress? In this presentation, I will provide some data and examples on common stressors among researchers, how they affect our mental health and a perspective on possible solutions.
Event will consist in a Zoom talk on the 9th of June, 4pm CEST
Interactive questions and registrations should be addressed to abc.labs.6.0@gmail.com
Voluntary (very cool!) survey for participants: to be completed by Mon 7 June 06:00 PM CEST
The conference will be also streamed on YouTube on the UNIMI PhilosophyDepartment's channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxHjXCG0vHH8V2T22ZqGbvg)
